We’re Lowering Prices for Everyone

Groove lowering prices

We’re lowering all of our pricing plans by 30% on June 1st, 2020.

When we launched Groove in 2012, we proudly served small businesses.

We weren’t the only ones doing so, but over the years, competitor after competitor has gone upmarket, raising their prices and realizing that their journey to success (or at least their investors’ journey to success) lay in much bigger deals.

But we’ve never taken our eyes off of the market that got us here: the 10,000+ small SaaS, eCommerce, services, and brick-and-mortar businesses that use Groove every day.

Serving a specific type of customer means listening very closely to that customer and building for what they need, rather than what we think is best.

While the feedback we’ve gotten on our recent product updates has been fantastic, we’ve also realized that some small businesses struggle to budget for the additional tools we’ve added… so we’re going to eliminate that concern.

To that end, I’m excited to share that—based on the feedback we’ve gotten from hundreds of conversations with both customers and people considering Groove—we’re lowering prices on all of our plans by 30%, effective June 1, 2020.

In addition, we’re removing the 2-user minimum for all plans, and all features are now available on all Knowledge Bases, with the exception of removing Groove branding.

Bottom line: We never want price to be the reason that a small business doesn’t choose Groove.

Sure, there are situations where this is unavoidable. We’re a business, and we need to stay healthy and profitable so we can be around to serve our customers for the long run. It would be unwise to sell our product at a loss.

But part of our job is to find ways to run our company more efficiently and effectively so we can offer the best price possible, and our recent reorganization efforts have allowed us to do that.

And now, we’re passing the savings on so more small businesses can afford Groove’s software.

New features coming soon for all plans

In addition to pricing changes, we’re working on even more features that will automatically be included in the following plans.

All plans: Live chat and Knowledge Base upgrades

Soon, Groove users will have access to a brand new live-chat widget for communicating with customers in real time.

And for the Knowledge Base, we’ll be releasing:

  • Password protection
  • SEO customizations
  • Custom scripts

These features will be available for all Groove customers as soon as we release them—with no additional fee.

Pro plan

For our Pro plan, we’ll soon be releasing brand new integrations with:

  • Salesforce
  • Jira
  • Hubspot
  • WhatsApp
  • SMS

These are in addition to the many integrations we already have available.

Enterprise plan

For enterprise users, you can continue to expect full access to every feature available in the Standard and Pro plans, plus:

  • Priority support
  • A dedicated success manager
  • Enterprise-class security
